Published in 1985, Le Chemin de la Lumière presents a series of discussions that took place between 1977 and 1979. Intended for French-speaking students already familiar with the basic principles of Ostad Elahi's teachings, these gatherings provided an opportunity to ask Prof. Bahram Elahi (the depository of Ostad Elahi's thought) various questions in order to gain a deeper understanding of his philosophy. To preserve the spontaneity of the talks, the original question-and-answer format has been retained throughout the book. Through these student-teacher dialogues, The Way provides valuable insight into the ups and downs, difficulties, surprises, and discoveries of a day-to-day spiritual practice. Considering that the discussions arose in a specific cultural context and were often adapted to the state of mind of the questioner at that particular time, some twenty years later the reader must now distinguish between that which was relative to the sociocultural circumstances of the period, and the fundamental spiritual principles that remain constant throughout time.
