This first CD, which contains recordings of Ostad Elahi's improvisations on the tanbour, provides an overview of his art featuring playful and ecstatic suites (Suite Jelo Shahi and Suite Sahari), a short meditative piece (Hymn and Suite Ey Dawud), and even a sung supplication (Saru Khani).
